Calm & Insight (śamatha-vipaśyanā) One-Day Meditation Retreat & Lecture
—— Led by Ven. Guo Che ——
“Seated in meditation, one enters deep concentration (samadhi); from within that concentration, contemplative insight awakens.”
Through the practice of one-day calm-and-insight meditation, quiet the mind’s afflictions and wandering thoughts while maintaining the right view in harmony with the mind. Let insight arise from meditative concentration and let concentration remain present within insight, cultivating calm and insight as one.
To better prepare participants for the one-day meditation retreat and deepen their understanding and application of the teachings, a special lecture with a Q&A session has been arranged to integrate both learning and practice.
