Dharma Drum Lamp Transmission Day

Passing the lamp, transmitting the Dharma, and living out our vows.

“Passing of the lamp from one to another” symbolizes the transmission of the Buddha’s wisdom and compassion from generation to generation. It also represents our wishes and aspirations to kindle the heart-lamps of ourselves and others with intrinsic luminous awareness.

We sincerely invite you to join us. By sharing our personal life stories and practicing together, we express our gratitude to our teacher, Master Sheng Yen, carry on the Buddha’s wisdom, and awaken the Bodhisattva aspirations in all of our hearts.

【Note】Please bring your Bodhi Practice Lamp Bowl to participate in the lamp-lighting. If you do not have it already, a limited number of lamp bowls will be available to borrow on site on a first-come, first-served basis. Light refreshments will be provided; no full lunch will be served.
